There are a lot of people in the market claiming to sell LLumar® PPF. This doesn’t
mean that what they are providing is an original LLumar product. Like other
products/services, there are several cases we have seen where some sellers in the
market claim to sell LLumar but end up providing duplicate products to the end user.
In such cases, be sure to be in touch with genuine LLumar fitment centers. If our
team has guided you to an Authorized Fitment Centre, you shouldn’t have a problem.
However, one must still check the authenticity of the product and here are some
steps that one can follow to do so:-
- Ask the seller to show you the original LLumar PPF roll/box in which the film
has arrived for installation
- Ask the seller to show you the roll no. / lot no. that is printed on the LLumar
PPF roll box
- Match this roll no. / lot no. with the number that is printed on the liner of
the PPF roll
- Check if the seller has genuine, authentic marketing collateral to showcase –
all LLumar® Authorized Dealers are equipped with a set of these.
- Ask the seller to showcase their LLumar Dealer Certificate which is a sign of
authenticity
- Last but most important of all, ask the seller if you are entitled to an
E-warranty post your LLumar PPF purchase. On buying an original LLumar PPF, one
receives an E-warranty i.e. an electronically generated warranty card from the
Gras-i headquarters. This warranty has to be filled in by the Authorized LLumar
Dealer and only those who are Authorized Dealers get access to this system
- Be mindful that it is also easy to duplicate or forge an E-warranty by just
manipulating a PDF version of the warranty. Make sure you ask the seller to show
you their access to the E-warranty portal and how they are filling in the
E-warranty details. Only Authorized Dealers have access to login to the LLumar
E-warranty portal so anyone who denies showing you this process is most likely
not selling genuine LLumar material
